The HMNT Update
March

SCA is proud to announce First Responder Credentialing and Board Certification for all First Responder Chaplains. These are the first credentialing available in the United States available to First Responder Chaplains!
Our certification process takes into consideration the general and basic needs of the FR Chaplain. The education module is succinct and comprehensive. You will read that CPE Units are required – Capstone University with the guidance of the advisory board has developed 2 units of FR CPE. These offer the participant an array of educational and applicable skills and knowledge every FR Chaplain should be aware of. And the costs – recognizing most FR Chaplains are not salaried, SCA is offering this education and process with very reasonable fees.
SCA believes the best prepared FR Chaplains provide the best clinical care in moments of trauma and crisis. Our hope is that Certified chaplains will become the model for the field to embrace – for the good of the people we care for.
Tier I – Credentialed First Responder Chaplain (CC)
Tier II – Board Certified First Responder Chaplain (BCC)
Tier III – Advance Practice First Responder Chaplain (APBCC)
